Rapha Church is a non-denominational house church in Caldwell, Idaho. We believe church is more than a service—it’s a family that gathers around Jesus.
Everything we do flows from our desire to follow Him faithfully, creating space for community, spiritual growth, and lives shaped by His presence.
Our Heart at Rapha
We believe that Jesus is our ultimate Healer and through prayer, His Word, and the power of His presence, lives can be transformed.
Healing is often a journey — one that involves community, courage, and taking intentional steps toward freedom.
At Rapha Church, our mission is to cultivate an atmosphere where people can encounter the healing presence of God, discover their God-given purpose, and walk in the fullness of joy that only He provides.
1 Thessalonians 5:11 says, “Encourage one another and build each other up.”
That’s what we aim to do — come alongside you, support you, and believe with you for restoration in every area of life.
Healing doesn’t always happen overnight, but the process begins when we bring things into the light and allow God to work. At Rapha, we’re creating a church family rooted in compassion, honesty, and hope — a place to grow together in faith.

What is a House Church?
A house church is a smaller, home-based expression of the church where people gather regularly for worship, discipleship, prayer, and authentic community.
House churches are not a replacement for biblical church life—they are a return to it. This model reflects how the early church gathered in homes (Acts 2:42–47), sharing life together while growing in faith and mission.
Do you gather publicly?
Yes—while our primary rhythm is weekly house churches, we also gather quarterly in a public setting as one church family.
These quarterly gatherings are a time for unified worship, teaching, celebration, and connection across all of our house churches. Location details, directions, and logistics for these gatherings are shared in advance through our website and communication channels.
What about my children?
Children are a valued and essential part of our church family, and they are fully included in the life of the church.
Every Sunday, we gather in house churches where children participate alongside their parents in worship, prayer, discussion, and community. Rather than offering a separate children’s ministry, we intentionally practice a family-integrated approach to church life. This allows children to see faith lived out up close, hear Scripture taught, and grow spiritually by participating with the adults in their lives.
Are you affiliated with a Christian denomination?
No, we are not affiliated with a Christian denomination. We believe in spiritual accountability and have structured our church to include Overseers, Trustees, and Elders.

We are in a spiritual battle, and the cost of silence is high.
This has been a sobering week. Violence has stolen lives, injustice has left families grieving, and the silence of bystanders has shown us the cost of looking away in the face of evil.
What we’re witnessing is more than cultural disagreements or political divides. Our freedoms and liberties are under attack by something much deeper: a spiritual war raging against truth, life, and hope.
As followers of Christ, we are called to take a stand against evil, to shine the light of Jesus into the darkness, and to resist the enemy - not with hate, but with unwavering faith and courage.
We cling to the Shepherd of our souls.
And though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we are not alone. The Lord is near and His presence is our comfort.

Your story has weight because it’s real.
And real stories awaken hope.
Don’t underestimate what God can do with your testimony. Someone’s breakthrough might be waiting on your boldness.

Jesus saw the crowds. He felt their pain. And He called for workers.
He wasn’t numb to the brokenness around Him—and He doesn’t want us to be either.
In Matthew 9:35–38, we see a Savior moved with compassion… not just to care, but to call His followers to step into the harvest. Because found people… find people.
If you’ve been rescued, redeemed, and restored—don’t stay still. Your faithfulness can be the answer to someone’s prayer. Ask God for spiritual vision and move with the same compassion Jesus has. 💫

Just as Moses faced uncertainty in his journey, we are reminded that the unknown doesn’t mean God isn’t at work in our lives. He guides us through every step, even when the path isn’t clear. Surrounding ourselves with ‘yes’ friends is important, but having godly friends who uplift, encourage, and pray for us is essential in walking out God’s plan for our lives. Vision Sunday was filled with inspiration! 🙌🏼
We celebrated God’s faithfulness over the past year, the growth we’ve seen, and the exciting future ahead.
One of our key goals for 2025 is launching small groups—rooted in Acts 2:46, where believers gathered in homes, shared meals, and built strong community. We also leaned into the power of generosity, encouraging a spirit of giving and serving with open hearts.❤️
As we step into this new season, we do so with faith and expectation, knowing that God’s faithfulness will continue to lead us forward! ✨
